Gold – Daily Liquidity Sweep & HTF Rebalance Setup

On the D timeframe, Gold has swept the PWL (Previous Week Low) but failed to secure a daily close below it. This suggests a liquidity grab rather than confirmed continuation — at least for now. It does not invalidate further downside, but the immediate delivery looks more like engineered liquidity collection.

From here, I would anticipate a potential move toward the higher-timeframe Fair Value Gap (HTF FVG), as markets tend to rebalance inefficiencies after major liquidity events.

Using Fibonacci, price has reacted cleanly from the 0.382 retracement level, adding technical confluence and reinforcing the probability of a short-term bounce.

From a macro perspective, rising geopolitical tensions — including increased US military deployment in the Middle East — add a supportive backdrop for Gold (risk-off bid).

That said, I trade strictly based on price action. I still need to see a meaningful liquidity sweep and a clear CISD (Change in State of Delivery) before executing.

Intraday objective: 4,960.
