Gold Market Outlook 12/ 02 (Based on SMC)
Structural Shift (CHoCH)
The initial bearish dominance was broken by successive CHoCH moves, establishing the foundation for the current uptrend (around 4080 – 4100).
Current Trend
The trend is strongly Bullish. This is confirmed by multiple subsequent BOS (Break of Structure) events, showing a clear sequence of higher highs and higher lows. The latest BOS pushed the price toward the 4260 peak.
Immediate Price Action
The price is currently correcting from the peak and is trading near 4216, testing the immediate structural support.
Trading Plan
SCENARIO 1: IMMEDIATE BULLISH CONTINUATION
Entry: 4200 – 4210
Rationale:
Liquidity is high, and the market will quickly resume the trend from the immediate support without a deep FVG mitigation.
Condition:
M15/M5 Bullish CHoCH or rejection candlestick formation near the 4200 – 4210 area.
SCENARIO 2: FVG MITIGATION & TREND CONTINUATION
Entry: 4180 – 4200
Rationale:
The market needs to mitigate the recent FVG to fill orders before the next major impulsive move.
Condition:
Price pulls back to fully tap the 4180 – 4200 FVG Zone. Confirmation via a Bullish CHoCH on M15/M30.
SCENARIO 3: STRUCTURAL BREAKDOWN (BEARISH CHoCH)
Entry: 4130
Rationale:
Bullish structure fails to hold the critical Demand Zone, confirming a structural shift back to bearish pressure.
Condition:
Price must decisively break and close below the Decision Demand Zone (4130). Enter SHORT on the retest of the broken 4,130 level (Bearish CHoCH confirmed on H1).
